In letting go,
there is a grace
that cleanses the soul~

Your Soul’s Secrets

rosesecrets.jpg

This innocence, we both cherish!
You put your hand on my ear
to reveal your soul’s secrets
and I succumb…
The purity of your heart spreads
as if music in my tympanums,
I lay on the floor, my centers
filled with divine laughter;
my location no longer matters
the entire world is you…

Meanders of Obscurity

~ Meanders of Obscurity ~

Bismillah, know that
adversity polishes you,
it brings you at the feet
of the Beloved in a way
that shatters your false self.
Be patient my love,
your light unravels best
in the meanders of obscurity.

To Run to a Sacred Love

RuntoLove.jpg

My dearest one,
we learn to attach
so many conditions
to Love that when

a rare deeper Love
appears, we are lost;
not knowing what to do
with the gift since

its value is beyond all
the common, limiting
considerations we are
accustomed to; whereas Love

by its very nature expands
and thus surprises,
so how can we enjoy
its abundant virtues

if patience is absent?
The Divine grows Love
like a seed planted
with devotion in the

fertile grounds of
a disinterested Heart
that trusts what may come.
Blessed is the one

who, by wisdom, learns
to run to a sacred Love
instead of running
away from it~

Of His Eloquence

bluenebulae_2

In the presence
of the Friend,
be quiet.
Should you know
of His eloquence,
assume a death:
the one which has
countless resurrections,
you know, the sunlit one!

Just Symphonies

symphonies

Our most feminine energies:
yesterday, enormous longings.
Today, whirling human beings.
Tomorrow, just symphonies;
all, cloaked in this beauty.
Woman, man, the same!

To Disperse His Music

pure_desert.jpg

There’s a self-made deafness
within these skeptics’ ears,
even when Christ walked
inside of their being

to disperse his holy music
they cringed, frightened
by his clarity, his loving,
his pure cleansing them!

(Poem excerpt from Nocturnal Light)
